SYNOPSIS: On 05/18/07, this Trooper seized evidence released by the Virginia Beach Police Department subsequent to the arrest of accused CUADRA/KEREKES and a search warrant served on their residence.
DETAILS: As has been previously reported herein, on 05/15/07 both accused were taken into custody by the Virginia Beach Police Department on charges related to this investigation. Additionally, members of the Virginia Beach Police Department served a search warrant on the residence of both accused and seized numerous items of evidence. On 05/18/07, this Trooper seized the following items of evidence which were released by said Police Department:
-“SigSauer” folding type knife within case (identical to model previously reported to have been purchased by accused CUADRA)
-“Sony” laptop computer model#PCG7V2L, serial#282012303017689
-Blk bag containing “Toshiba” laptop computer, serial#17355381K, along with misc. cords
-Five “miniDV” cassette tapes/two digital camera cards
-Blk bag containing “Sony” camcorder, serial#1321305, along with misc. cords
-“Sprint” mobile air card, ESN: 5B4B9E78
Said items were relinquished to this Trooper by Det. C.A. ACOSTA, and were transported by this Trooper to Pa State Police Wyoming Barracks and entered into evidence under property #P1-7225V. Aforementioned knife was subsequently transferred by this Trooper to Pa State Police Wyoming Laboratory for analysis.
